Biography

Motivational speaker Deirdre Van Nest’s entire speaking and coaching practice was born out of her frustration in starting a business in 1999 and not being able to accomplish what she wanted — because fear kept getting in the way.

Deirdre is not an academic in an ivory tower – she has lived, breathed, and proven every single tactic she teaches and speaks about.

As a result, speaking audiences connect with her authenticity and interactive style.

Deirdre is the author of Fire Your Fear: How To Grow Your Business by Changing the Way You Think and is the co-Author of the Amazon Best Selling book World Class Speaking in Action.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Boston College and Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University

She is a member of the National Speakers Association, was a former president of the All About Business chapter of Business Network International (BNI), and currently holds ministry positions in her church.
